The Research Integrity and Compliance (RIC) Manager is a managerial position of the Research Integrity and Compliance team responsible for managing the process to ensure that all research activities conducted at the University of Minnesota adhere to the highest ethical standards and comply with all applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies. This role involves managing, developing, and facilitating training for researchers, conducting audits and investigations for research integrity and compliance matters, promoting a culture of research integrity, and managing one staff member. About the Department
The University of Minnesota's Research Integrity and Compliance Program is part of the Research and Innovation Office (RIO). The RIC Program is responsible system-wide for responsible conduct of research, research misconduct, U.S. export controls and economic sanctions, research security, the certified approver program, and research policy management. Our mission is to protect the institution's reputation, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in research, safeguard the economic and national security interests of research stakeholders, and promote responsible research practices that support the advancement of knowledge and innovation.
