OVERVIEW

Merrick is actively seeking a Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) to support our growing Human Resources team. Merrick has had steady growth over the last several years and we are strategically expanding our HR department to support 1000+ employees across the United States and internationally! This position is in our headquarters in Greenwood Village (Denver Metro), CO.

Typical annual pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 per hour. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering HR projects, policies, programs, and procedures. Your responsibilities will include onboarding, orientation, HRIS data management, document management, pre-hire compliance testing, and general administrative support.

  • Lead and manage the entire onboarding process, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and integrated by conducting comprehensive HR orientation sessions.
  • Provide friendly guidance to staff regarding people, policies, and programs.
  • Monitor employment compliance items such as employment law posters, I-9/Clear Verify, and electronic employee files.
  • Administer required training for employees through our HRIS learning platform.
  • Support Learning & Development programs to help our team grow and thrive.
  • Administer background check and drug screening programs with care.
  • Run reports in HRIS to support HR processes and compliance tracking.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of HR administration experience, actively driving and delivering onboarding for new hires.
  • Proficient in using typical business and HR tools including HRIS systems, HR intranet site, MS Office Suite, etc. Experience using UKG is highly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employment information as an HR professional.
  • Exceptional attention-to-detail with a focus on delivering quality while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit to work on creative solutions with the HR Team.
  • Strong partnership skills with Recruiters, HR Partners, and Hiring Managers to ensure seamless collaboration on the new employee experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all departments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Adept at creating effective relationships with customers (internal and external) and maintaining their trust and respect.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Local candidates preferred.
