Responsibilities

To provide comprehensive monitoring services and coaching to assist participants to fully utilize the skills and knowledge acquired during treatment. To improve recovery outcomes by providing guidance, support and accountability to clients and families in the early critical months of recovery. To continuously screen and intervene on emerging issues to, coordinate and integrate services into the participant's continuum of care and promote utilization of designated services as need is determined. To monitor accountability to the continuing care plan and provide periodic updates to key stakeholders regarding the participant's utilization of services recommended by the treatment team. In the absence of Connection supervisor, assume leadership and supervisory responsibility of the Connection program team to ensure coordination of staff and services and continuity of participant care. Provide supervision to students and interns to facilitate development of competency and ethical practice.

  • Provide recovery support services to participants in need according to the Hazelden Betty Ford Standards of Care.
  • Provide effective coaching and accountability services.
  • Represent Hazelden Betty Ford service to various audiences to ensure consistent knowledge about services, processes, and participants.

  • Provide Supervision.
  • Complete marketing and sales tasks as needed to promote and grow the Connection Program.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or similar.
  • License in addictions counseling, social work or similar.
  • Two or more years of experience providing support services in behavioral health setting.
  • Working knowledge of coaching skills, including being able to develop and maintain an effective coaching plan.
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals recovering from addictions.
  • Ability to engage, listen and communicate clearly with assigned clients.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and learning agility with new technology
  • Completed Hazelden Betty Ford's Graduate School clinical supervision course or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years freedom from chemical use problems (MN Plymouth)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience as a social worker or case manager in a behavioral health setting.
  • Professional experience with sales and marketing.
