Collection Platform Support

Based in Northern Virginia, Axiologic Solutions LLC, has an opportunity for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking a Collection Platform Support to assist our growing team.

Position Description: The Sponsor's office conducts collection of information that addresses key questions related to national-level requirements. The Sponsor requires subject matter expertise in development and maintenance of collection platforms that are tailored to a variety of sources. This work would leverage knowledge of IT systems and networks, cloud-based computing, network management platforms, scripting or programming products, and configuration scripts, in support of Sponsor activities.

Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall work closely with other teams; however, the Sponsor project manager will manage the priorities.

* The Contractor shall assess unique source network configurations and devise tailored collection solutions for each source to ensure continuous collection.

* The Contractor shall monitor the status of collection solutions to ensure data ingest is uninterrupted; if data gaps or stoppages occur, Contractor shall diagnose faults and implement remedies to restore collection.

* The Contractor shall coordinate with in-house data repositories to ensure data transfer from one platform to another takes place in an automated fashion.

* The Contractor shall interface with users of collected information to ensure data is accessible and in the proper format.

Required:

* Demonstrated experience leveraging a background in programming, software tools and packages, operating systems, and networking to solve collection needs in cloud environments.

* Demonstrated experience with the ability to listen and transcribe from mission need to technical requirements.

* Demonstrated experience with the ability to reflect back an understanding of the mission need described and convey how a technical solution will deliver mission results.

* Demonstrated experience prioritizing work based on mission need.

* Demonstrated experience documenting and communicating technical and non-technical mission requirements for all audiences.

* Demonstrated experience with assessing project requirements and making informed recommendations.

* Demonstrated experience with Python.

* Demonstrated experience with Linux shell scripting.

* Demonstrated experience building Docker containers and images.

* Demonstrated experience with cloud services including Lambda Functions and Layers, S3, EC2, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, IAM Roles, and Container services.

* Demonstrated experience using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar are not substitutes for CDK experience.

* Demonstrated experience transforming data in various file formats into common formats such as json, csv, or xml.

* Demonstrated experience working with application developers to identify and implement infrastructure and deployment requirements.

* Demonstrated experience working with other technical teams across multiple organizational boundaries.

* Demonstrated experience with multiple cloud providers.

* Demonstrated experience with video processing and formatting.

* Demonstrated experience with other programming languages besides Python.
