Audio-Video Producer/Director GP Strategies Government Solutions is a premier provider of custom training programs, including: employee request for transfer (ERT), safety initiatives, apprenticeship, and site specific training to enhance employee workplace knowledge and skills, and instruction/facilitation. Products and services required to support the above areas include a combination of training needs analysis, training materials, job aids, multimedia, videos, technical writing, and technical instruction/facilitation

- Instructor-led and virtual instructor-led trainings
- Podcasts, recorded presentations, print deliverables, and knowledge assessments

Summary The role will be responsible for creating, shooting, editing, and producing instructional video content that aligns with our client's training objectives and brand standards. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of instructional design principles and video production techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in video production, camera operation, audio equipment, and video/image editing. This role requires proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to travel between sites across Puget Sound and work in hazardous environments utilizing proper PPE. Additionally, the candidate must be able to walk and carry equipment through large factories.
- Work closely with instructional designers to understand training objectives and develop video content that enhances learning experiences.
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality instructional videos, including training modules, tutorials, and e-learning content.
- Conduct pre-production activities such as script writing, storyboarding, and scheduling to ensure smooth video production processes.
- Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing software.
- Edit video footage, add effects, transitions, graphics, and music to create polished final products that meet production standards.
- Ensure all video content meets the company's quality standards and aligns with instructional design principles.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video production and instructional design, incorporating new techniques and technologies as needed.
- Organize and archive video assets for future use and reference.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Suite), camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality video production.

- Technical Expertise:
- Instructional Design: Ability to create effective and engaging learning experiences by applying instructional design principles to video content.
- Graphic Design: Skills in creating visually appealing graphics and layouts to enhance video presentations and instructional materials.
- Animation: Proficiency in creating animations to illustrate complex concepts and add dynamic elements to instructional videos.
- Software:
- Storyline: Experience with Articulate Storyline for developing interactive e-learning modules and integrating them into video content.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in film production, Media Studies, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video production, preferably in a corporate or instructional design setting.
- Equivalent experience may substitute.
