Staffmark is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support a leading distillery in Clermont, KY. This temporary position is projected to last 6-8 months and offers a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Hours and Pay:

1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:



  • HR Operations: Manage the internal bid process for hourly employees, support external recruiting needs, and facilitate new hire orientations.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries, oversee disciplinary issues, and participate in investigations and terminations.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of employee changes, including leave of absence and position changes.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Support: Assist with union/company contract negotiations and support broader HR initiatives.
  • Leadership: Foster an inclusive culture and advocate for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.



Requirements:



  • Education: Associate degree in Human Resources or Business; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role (manufacturing environment experience preferred).
  • Certifications: SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), and knowledge of labor laws in union and non-union environments.
  • Mobility: Constantly walking, standing, and sitting with occasional climbing of three flights of stairs.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in hot or cold conditions.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
