As a Senior Director of Product Marketing, you'll be a member of the Product Marketing leadership team with responsibility for "Go To Market" marketing efforts for Empower Personal Wealth, including Core DTC, Mobile, Managed Accounts & Investments or Wealth Management products. Reporting to the Head of EPW Product Marketing with dotted lines to key Product Directors, you'll be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of marketing efforts to support the roll out and on-going promotion of Empower's suite of consumer financial products and services.
What you will do:
  • Develop strategic go-to-market marketing plans for investing products and advisory services, including leveraging the company's strategy, sales, product and marketing leadership to position EPW's products and services with customer needs
  • Lead the Product Marketing Management (PMM) team to combine Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, Advisor feedback and primary consumer research to understand our customer anxieties around financial services, planning and investing. Leverage insights to craft clear and compelling value propositions, messaging and positioning and incorporate into marketing and product assets
  • Responsible for ensuring end-to-end continuity of messaging across Marketing, Product and Sales collateral for the products they oversee
  • Support the development of behavioral and attitudinal segmentation efforts with EPW Marketing leadership, Strategy, Product, Sales and Analytics. Usesegmentation to better understand how to align the right product to the right customer at the right time. Ensure the segmentation methodology is applied universally and consistently to all GTM strategies
  • Partner closely with Product team to develop promotional plans for key product or product feature releases, including providing recommendations for the level of marketing the company should do based on the business opportunity
  • Partner closely with Sales and Product leadership to prioritize promotional efforts and convey these priorities with cross-functional teams to develop marketing collateral programs
  • Champion the needs of the customer and ensure that Empower presents our value proposition, unique selling proposition and messaging with a level of consistency across our various consumer funnels and end-to-end from Marketing to Product to Sales collateral
  • Establish metrics to drive product adoption, product market share and product NPS. Product Marketing supports our acquisition and retention teams to drive their goals
  • Leverages Marketing's internal shared services including creative, analytics, customer insights, operations, web design and social media
  • Partner closely with legal and compliance resources
What you will bring:
  • 15+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of bringing consumer products and service to market
  • Strong presentation and relationship management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
  • Proven track record of driving market share growth
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus

Base Salary Range

$135,300.00 - $196,125.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
