Senior Manager, Global Inventory Leader

Summary:
The Global Inventory Leader will lead inventory strategy and execution across multiple manufacturing sites throughout the organization. The successful candidate will deliver process improvement, governance to inventory planning policies and execution to deliver optimized inventory levels and achievement of associated KPIs. This role will work closely with each region within the corporation, including individuals in Program Management, Supply Chain Management, and Finance to ensure inventory objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities:
*Plan and direct all aspects of global inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives.
*Develop standards and metrics that maximize inventory management efficiency.
*Develop and implement inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
*Lead regional inventory optimization meetings creating specific objectives for achieving end of quarter inventory goals.
*Initiate daily/weekly visual management reviews within the team, and communication to all levels within the organization including stakeholders and management.
*Research, negotiate and implement vendor managed inventory programs globally.
*Collaborate with Business Development team to develop and execute favorable contract content relative to inventory turns, schedule flexibility, and excess and obsolete liability.
*Analyze site excess inventory levels and initiate redeployment to source of demand.
*Maintain an understanding of, and strive to improve financial metrics, such as inventory turns, days inventory outstanding, and cash conversion cycle.
*Champion the expanded use of technology and lean principles to improve planning, decision making, and execution. Support the use of the ERP system for inventory management principles.

Qualifications:

*A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a progressive supply chain role.
*A minimum of 5 years of experience in S&OP, Planning, and/or Inventory Management.
*APICS certification is a plus.
*Ability to influence and lead indirectly.
*Must be willing to travel on occasion to manufacturing sites.
*An understanding of the application and concepts of production and planning control fundamentals including MRP, inventory management, supply & demand, logistics, procurement, capacity planning, scheduling, and lean manufacturing.
*Proactive problem-solver with demonstrated creative and critical-thinking capabilities.
*Project management, data analytics, and Lean training experience.
*Power BI or similar experience.
*Experience in the EMS industry is a plus.
