About this role

As a Research Solutions Principal, you'll collaborate with clients and the Commercial Team to deliver impactful insights through standard and advanced analytics. From pre-sales and proposals to data management, statistical analysis, and study execution, you'll ensure scientific rigor and excellence across diverse epidemiology projects.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with clients to define analytical requirements, assessing whether standard methodologies or custom analytics best address business objectives.
  • Design and document tailored analytic solutions, presenting technical approaches and value propositions while addressing methodological considerations.
  • Oversee project initiation and execution, ensuring seamless transitions to epidemiology and analytics teams, and maintaining accountability for timelines and data quality.
  • Partner with epidemiologists and statisticians to align study design with research questions, applying advanced analytics to generate robust, evidence-based insights.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in patient-level data and healthcare analytics, advising internal teams on optimal data strategies and analytical frameworks.
  • Contribute to business growth by supporting development of technical marketing content and facilitating strategic client engagement at industry conferences.

What You'll Bring

  • MPH or MSc in Epidemiology, Population Health, or a related field and 3+ years of experience working with real-world data (RWD), with strong epidemiologic and statistical expertise.
  • Proven ability to design and execute prospective and retrospective epidemiological studies.
  • Experience in longitudinal patient analytics across consulting, project leadership, or commercial roles in life sciences or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience designing and applying RWD-driven solutions.
  • Strong client-facing skills with a track record of delivering compelling, data-driven presentations.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales or performance targets.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to develop custom analytic solutions.
  • Skilled in deriving insights from complex healthcare datasets with minimal oversight.
  • Strong quantitative and data analysis skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding of sales processes and client engagement strategies.
  • Proven critical thinker with the ability to assess and optimize analytical approaches.

If you are ready to be part of a team where your work truly matters - where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your contributions help shape the future of healthcare, Target RWE is the place for you.
