Your impact

As a Sales Enablement Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in Commercial Aviation's pursuit of target airlines. Your area of influence will span the full scope of sales operations, from developing pitch strategies, managing enablement tools, skilling up members, and supporting sales campaigns. Working as part of our Sales Strategy team, you will ensure we put our best foot forward with airlines by keeping the sales team up to date on the latest technology, maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and ensuring top-tier execution of sales campaigns/RFP responses. As we strive to differentiate our services, this role will enhance sales effectiveness and support the growth of our Commercial Aviation division.

What you will do




  • Collaborate with sales and account managers on commercial pursuits including new airline customers, existing customer revenue initiatives, and strategic partnerships
  • Draft executive summaries, proposals, and meeting decks in collaboration with the sales and subject matter experts
  • Identify gaps in sales knowledge and coordinate technical training for sales skill ups
  • Proactively research and evaluate current market trends, such as internet behaviors and competitive technology evolution, to continuously refine Intelsat Inflight sales and business development strategy
  • Act as the internal "go-to" for all matters related to sales operations, creating ad hoc resources, salesforce reports, etc. to support leadership or commercial pursuits
  • Align key stakeholders across revenue management, operations, and sales to ensure deliverable requirements are known and all deadlines are met



Your required experience/skills




  • Four-year college degree.
  • 2-5 years in sales operations, sales training and development, technical marketing, consulting or related experience
  • Experience building sales tools, playbooks, and training to skill up the sales team
  • Experience using sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Highspot, and/or Blue Sheets
  • Aptitude for converting technical product details into compelling value-added solutions that resonate with various personas and market segments
  • Ability to work cross-functionally or independently to gather relevant information and create a variety of external-facing materials while working against tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • This role is subject to ITAR/EAR; candidates must be a US Person (this includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee). (remove if not applicable)



Your success in this role will look like




  • Developing pitch strategies that convey unique value to individual airlines/audiences and ensuring those themes are carried across our RFP responses, decks, and proposal documents to deliver a cohesive commercial package.
  • Enhancing sales performance by equipping the team with the tools, resources, and training they need to effectively sell inflight connectivity and support airline communications
  • Supporting the accurate and timely delivery of articulate RFP responses
  • Positively impacting our business operations with proactive problem solving, exceptional organization skills, and collaborative team spirit



It would be nice if you had



  • Working knowledge of inflight connectivity or aptitude and curiosity for understanding technical topics
  • Experience simplifying complex topics for non-technical audiences, and in particular, identifying unique value propositions for various decision makers
  • Familiarity or experience with airlines or aerospace OEMs as it relates to digital technology or inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC)
  • Experience using Photoshop, InDesign, Figma or other design tools suited to customizing proposals and other sales materials
  • Advanced degree in a highly relevant field such as marketing, sales operations, etc.

  • Pay Rate: The annual salary pay for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. The annual bonus target for this position is ten (10) percent. In determining compensation, Intelsat considers factors including but not limited to position scope and responsibilities, candidate work experience, education/training, skills, and internal peer ranges. Intelsat provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
