  • Estimated annual base pay: $64,080(minimum) - $80,100(midpoint) - $96,120(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Operation Engineer - Weld. The Operations Engineer 1 (level 1) reports to Technical Leadership and provides manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Supports production from a technical standpoint., we have an exciting opportunity for you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supports technical solutions and process improvement initiatives, including cell layouts and capital equipment implementation.
  • Creates and maintains process documentation, updates work orders and supports basic engineering changes.
  • Has a general understanding of Six Sigma, lean tools, and DFMA concepts to improve processes and support new product introductions.
  • Represents the company with customers and provides updates to management on operations status.
  • Supports the manufacturing floor by addressing process-related questions and incorporating process improvements while adhering to Quality System requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • US Bachelor's Degree required
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills, along with basic presentation abilities.
  • Possesses general troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including a foundational understanding of Root Cause Analysis.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical machine drawings, and product drawings, critical for engineering and manufacturing tasks.
  • Applied knowledge of manufacturing and industrial engineering processes, including capabilities studies, Gage R&R, and machine capability.
  • Has general knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing concepts, and project planning tools to support process improvements and organizational initiatives.
