Weston is seeking a motivated Geospatial Analyst to join our growing Geospatial Team, supporting innovative spatial solutions across environmental, emergency response, and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to apply core GIS skills while expanding into spatial analytics, geospatial modeling, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning within the Esri platform.

The ideal candidate has a passion for spatial problem-solving, a strong foundation in GIS principles, and curiosity for leveraging new tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from spatial data. This role will collaborate closely with project teams of environmental scientists, geologists, engineers, and emergency response staff to deliver high-quality mapping, data management, and geospatial analysis solutions.

Location: Frisco, TX

Primary Responsibilities:

  • High-quality project mapping and geospatial data support using Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Create, maintain, and manage GIS projects and geodatabases.
  • Perform geospatial analyses, modeling, and visualization within the Esri suite to support environmental, emergency response, and infrastructure projects.
  • Apply spatial analysis techniques, including the use of Esri's deep learning tools for object detection, feature extraction, image classification, and change detection from imagery or LiDAR datasets.
  • Support preparation, labeling, and management of training datasets to support AI/ML workflows in ArcGIS Pro.
  • Create and maintain data documentation and metadata for GIS projects and deliverables.
  • Gather, convert, analyze, and manage spatial datasets from a variety of sources, including vector, raster, remote sensing, and field-collected data.
  • Support ArcGIS Enterprise web-based mapping teams with the development, deployment, and maintenance of interactive web maps, dashboards, and applications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of Professional Experience in GIS, geospatial analysis, or related field.
  • Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree in Environmental/Earth Sciences, GIS, Geosciences, Geography, Engineering, or Related Sciences or GIS Certificate preferred
  • Experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for spatial data visualization, analysis, and management.
  • Proficient in map projections and spatial data transformations
  • Familiarity with Esri's deep learning toolsets for object detection, classification, and feature extraction from imagery and LiDAR data.
  • Working knowledge of spatial analysis workflows leveraging Esri-supported Python libraries (e.g., ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, Deep Learning Libraries).
  • Exposure to training or deploying deep learning models within the Esri environment (e.g., using Train Deep Learning Model, Detect Objects Using Deep Learning, or Classify Pixels Using Deep Learning tools).
  • Strong understanding of geodatabase structure and capabilities
  • Strong understanding of SQL statements
  • Strong understanding of working in GIS tools based in Model Builder, Python, R
  • Understanding of GPS technology and data.
  • Organizational and Prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications Skills
  • Work collaboratively with and under the supervision of a Senior Team Member/Project Manager

Preferred:

  • Ability to publish and manage map, feature and geoprocessing services using ArcPro and ArcGIS Server Manager is a plus
  • Mobile Data Collection Development in the ArcGIS Online Suite of Application including ArcGIS Collector/Field Maps and Survey123 is a plus
  • Familiarity of spatial data insights in the ArcGIS Enterprise including ArcGIS Online, Server, and Portal.
  • Programming Languages - Python, R, JavaScript, Arcade, GPS Software and equipment Experience- Trimble, Arrow, TerraSync, Pathfinder, etc.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $56,068-$73,698-$91,225
