Job Description

Develops and oversees implementation of current and long-term HR goals and objectives for all aspects of HR impacting engagement and service excellence. Educates people leaders across the organization to enable them to be more effective leaders.

Job Responsibility



  • Leads an HR group by communicating with and developing staff members and builds consensus for programs and goals that support leaders within a business unit, function, or geographic area.
  • Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
  • Directs and oversees all operations within the organization's human resource's function.
  • Develops and implements organizational human resources policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legislation (including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA).
  • Develops and deploys training and career development programs for leaders across functions.
  • Evaluates and selects HR-related vendors or service providers.
  • Assists the leadership team in developing human resource strategies.
  • Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments.
  • Leads and directs the work of other team members and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with the leadership.
  • Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification



  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 8-12 years of prior technical experience and 7+ years of leadership/management experience, preferred.
  • Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience, preferred.
