Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced "Technical Product Consultant - FAST" with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in FAST configuration and experience in Life and Annuity domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee project planning scheduling and resource allocation to meet project objectives.
• Provide technical mentorship and expertise in FAST Configuration to project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope goals and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and performance identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among project team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Manage project documentation including project plans status reports and change requests.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to improve project delivery.
• Support the development and maintenance of project management methodologies and tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project integration and implementation.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
• Responsible for Coding and Unit testing of all FAST configuration work including:
• Product Configuration, Rider Configuration
• Fund Line-up and Fund Rate set up
• Transactions through orchestration debugging
• Decision Table, calc etc
• Commission Management
• Correspondence and Report configuration
• Functional access set-up
• Responsible for peer review, unit testing and functional testing
• Responsible for FAST best practice for configuration and Integration

Qualifications

• Have a solid understanding of Life and Annuity domain.
• Possess strong technical background in any CoTS product or any home grown L&A policy administration system
• Preferred to have FAST product and configuration knowledge (optional)
• Exhibit excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Display strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Hold relevant LOMA - SRI Certification.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $66,896- $132,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
