The Department of Radiology at University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking a full-time faculty position, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, in the Neuroradiology Section at the instructor or senior instructor level. The position reports to the Director of the CU CSF Leak Center. We are a high-volume clinical program performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of spontaneous and iatrogenic CSF leaks, as well as the clinical management of these patients in the post-treatment period. This position does not require evenings or weekends. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical duties involve primarily the provision of outpatient and inpatient clinical service support as well as both procedural and clinical activities.
- The job will require clinical duties in both the inpatient and outpatient setting including outpatient clinic visits, pre-operative H&P, informed consent, patient preparation for procedures,
- Also required are occasional inpatient rounding, family and patient education, coordination of longitudinal care of CSF leak patients,
- Coordination of a multidisciplinary CSF leak conference.
- The individual will be trained by the Neuroradiology physicians in image guided procedures including dynamic myelography, epidural blood patching, and epidural fibrin glue patching.
Work Location: This role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Instructor or Senior Instructor, based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Instructor:
- Master's degree in NP or PA graduate from an NCCPA-approved Physician Assistant program
- If PA - current Colorado State Physician Assistant License with prescriptive authority
Senior Instructor:
- Master's Degree in NP or PA graduate from an NCCPA-approved Physician Assistant program
- If PA - current Colorado State Physician Assistant License with prescriptive authority
The rank is dependent on a combination of academic accomplishments, career pathway, as well as input from the department's Promotion and Tenure committee. Preferred Qualifications:
- Value teamwork and have a strong sense of academic excellence
- Experience in interventional radiology or neurology
- Must have ability to work independently
- Flexible with daily tasks

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Instructor - $103,000 - $139,000 Senior Instructor - $103,000 - $139,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
