The McCoy Group has an opening for a full-time Sr. Benefits & Onboarding Specialist at our corporate office in Dubuque, Iowa.

Job Summary: Implement current administrative procedures to serve internal and external customer base. Work with team to establish areas of improvement and contribute to team efforts towards goals. Maintain integrity of HR/Benefits programs and processes.

Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with Assistant HR Manager in a team approach to reaching company goals
  • Understand and be able to clearly explain various employee benefits programs, such as group health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Responsible for benefit cost summaries, ROI reports, benefit comparisons
  • In collaboration with Assistant HR Manager, oversee benefits communications, including meetings, and PowerPoint presentation creation
  • Oversee benefits changes to ensure they are entered appropriately in various systems and work with vendors to resolve issues
  • Be knowledgeable in qualifying events, eligibility, open enrollment protocol for all benefits
  • Assist Assistant HR Manager in obtaining data, statistics and other information relating to benefits, including Annual Reports (HIRD, 1099 HC, 1095C)
  • Proficient with iSolved HRIS software for benefits tracking, reporting, and onboarding
  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate documentation/records
  • Flexible to adjust to changing priorities on short notice and multi-task
  • Promote Professionalism and Pride within the work force at all time
  • Maintain regular on-site attendance
  • Any other job duties as may be delegated by supervisor



Qualifications:



  • Outstanding communications skills (Oral/Written)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Accurate with information and reporting
  • Skilled at working with confidential information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must possess a 4-year college degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience
  • Minimum of 3 years working with an automated HRIS system, preferably iSolved
  • Associates or BS degree in Human Resources or relevant field


  • Must be flexible with schedule to include occasional travel, including overnight
