Job Summary
Initiate, cultivate and sustain relationships with key administrators from clinics and hospitals to develop clinical rotation sites for PA students in Minnesota and surrounding states. Serve as principal liaison to ensure proper data management for the PA program according to the ARC-PA accreditation and assessment standards.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) with Prospecting & Development of Student Clinical Sites - 45%
    • Identify prospective clinical rotation sites.
    • Identify high priority clinical site needs and healthcare institutions with potential teaching capacity.
    • Ascertain key administrators and contacts within hospitals and clinics.
    • Establish a system for assessing clinical learning environments and present student requirements for potential partnerships.
    • Initiate the affiliation agreement process and onboarding requirements for sites.
    • Utilize the existing health education software for student placement.
  2. Assist the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) with Clinical Site Maintenance & Development - 35%
    • Maintain and advance existing student clinical rotation site partnerships.
    • Appraise details of relationship history.
    • Restore and revitalize day-to-day interactions with key administrative and provider contacts at clinical sites.
    • Broaden and expand critical and emerging partners through site visits.
    • Travel to sites needing face-to-face visits and participate in virtual site visits as indicated.
    • Promote the visibility of the program amidst increasing competitors.
    • Update the ARC-PA portal listing of clinical sites as needed.
  3. Assist the DCE, co-coordinator, assessment committee, and Program Director with Ongoing Data Analysis - 20%
    • Maintain ongoing site evaluation processes to ensure quality of teaching at each clinical site.
    • Provide continuous analysis and ongoing evaluation of clinical rotation and program data.
    • Work cooperatively with marketing to draft, create, and produce promotional materials for program use.
    • Manage reports to the assessment committee and clinical team based on careful data analysis.
    • Access and analyze ARC-PA self-study report documents.

  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in healthcare.
Education

Bachelor's degree.

Additional Information

Travel: This position requires frequent local and regional travel and some national travel.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and/or laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Expected Hours of Work: Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position.
