Position Summary:

The Inventory/SAP Administrator will maintain and update inventory records. Create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures. Train all necessary employees on inventory management procedures. Perform all activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures. Reconcile physical inventories to SAP inventories. Recommend programs to improve inventory management.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties



  • Conduct as necessary, any search to locate products within the system. Analyze discrepancies to determine root cause and determine corrective action. Adjust records when discrepancies exist between physical and system quantities.
  • Develop all necessary reports, queries, and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts and effective management of inventory, including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Complete and issue all necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist other functional groups within the organization in resolving SAP issues related to materials management.
  • Assist with development, testing, and implementation of changes to SAP transactions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting of IT equipment.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills



  • Knowledge of warehouse processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, etc.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Implement process and technique changes.
  • Requires the ability to understand elementary problems; use of formulas and tables in Excel



Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:



  • 5 or more years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with SAP Materials Management/Inventory Management/Warehouse Management
  • Experience with warehouse data collection equipment.
  • Must have or be able to obtain B. Braun certification for all warehouse equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.



Desired:



  • Associates Degree preferred.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Hourly Pay Rate: $22.06-$26.48 per hour
