Senior Software Engineer

Intelsat US LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Ellenwood, GA.

Duties: Develop and support Intelsat inventory, case, and other service assurance tooling capabilities to support ServiceNow platform purpose-build for operations support systems (OSS) needs. Duties include: perform developer and administrator support to harmonize, and extend ServiceNow capabilities; develop solutions to business problems in accordance with SDLC best practices; and provide accurate work estimates, meet deadlines, and understand project methodology. Up to 5% domestic and/or international travel. Multiple positions.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Science, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: ServiceNow; Asset management; and CMDB. Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Satellite or telecommunications industry; Workflows, procedures and best practices in data analysis and computer programming; Software development lifecycle (SDLC); Agile development methodology; Database warehousing; Working with physical, logical configurable item (CI) and service model instance to make sound operations recommendations; and MS Excel, Access, and SQL.
