Starting wage - $38.64 - $48.29 (based on experience)

Qualifications:



  • Completion of an accredited professional nursing program. BSN or MSN preferred
  • Current Minnesota Registered Nursing License
  • Understanding of ASC accreditation requirements.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Previous leadership experience preferred


Job Responsibilities:



  • Ensures compliance with accreditation guidelines, regulatory standards, and best practices.
  • Acts in accordance with the MN Nurse Practice Act and licensure requirements.
  • Guides the nursing team in implementing protocols, standards, and initiatives.
  • Ensures seamless admission and discharge process.
  • Acts as a vital link between the patients, the medical team, and the healthcare system, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care and have their needs meet.
  • Promotes a culture of safety and risk management.
  • Supports departmental and organizational goals, optimizing performance targets.
  • Ensures safe work environments, aligning with health and safety regulations.
  • Implements infection control measures per national and organizational guidelines.
  • Aligns departmental strategies with organizational values and culture.
  • Develops departmental resources and supports staffing needs.
  • Facilitates team meetings and oversees the nursing agenda.
  • Mentors staff, assesses competencies, and shares knowledge.
  • Leads orientation, onboarding, and training for new hires.
  • Assists with annual competencies, checkoffs, mandatory training, and administrative tasks.
  • Engages in committee and leadership meetings.
  • Fosters staff development and continuous learning.
  • Serves as a clinical role model and participates in supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
