APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
POSITION SPECIFICS The Office of Enterprise Change and Transformation is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project planning, execution, and communication of the strategic and tactical management of projects related to the President's strategic plan. The Project Coordinator will work closely with a project manager and project team to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope. The Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Director and will support a project team consisting of administrative support, communications, organizational change management, and project management. The Project Coordinator must have a strong customer service orientation and an understanding of Penn State culture and constituent needs. This position also requires a baseline understanding of transition processes in order to facilitate successful progress from project initiation and execution to deployment and operations. An intermediate background in project management practice and methodology is preferred, supported by demonstrable skills of leadership, discernment, and communication. This is a term appointment funded for two years from the date of hire. The location of this position is flexible and can operate fully remote within the United States, fully in-person at our University Park Campus, or in a hybrid model of both in-person and remote. Standard working hours are in the eastern time zone. The Office of Enterprise Change and Transformation is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position.Questions related to flexible work hours should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneA Project Management industry certification, or equivalent relevant experience/education is strongly preferred (e.g., PMI or similar).
