Marvell Data Science and Engineering Team is at the forefront of driving Marvell's Data Science, Strategy, and Architecture initiatives. As a high-visibility team, we deliver critical data science solutions to the operations and leadership group that empower data-driven decision-making at the highest levels.

This team is responsible for executing global, high-impact projects that add significant value across the organization. By leveraging cutting-edge data science technologies and methodologies, we ensure that Marvell remains a leader in harnessing data for business advantage. ThePrincipal Data Scientistwill play a pivotal role in the design, development, and management of projects that support the organization's data science and machine learning initiatives.

What You Can Expect

* Hands-on develop, productionize, and operate Machine Learning models and pipelines at scale.

* Lead the development and implementation of predictive modelsto optimize business processes and improve product quality.

* Collaborate with business teams and data scientists, data architectsto design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning algorithms.

* Apply techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, optimization methods, etc.to solve complex business problems in IT, supply chain, and design engineering.

* Perform statistical analysisto validate models and ensure their accuracy and reliability.

* Clean and preprocess datafrom various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity for model development.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, IT, supply chain and finance, to understand business needs and translate them into machine learning based solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience inmachine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of data governance and best practices in data management, as well as proficiency in tools such as Python, MLflow, PL/SQL and Github.
  • This role will also collaborate closely with data scientists, data architects and business intelligence teams to ensure that data solutions meet the organization's analytical and operational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Semiconductor experience or Big Tech are a plus.
  • Building AIML and AI solutions in the past.
  • The Principal Data Scientist should have a Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, or equivalent education with 8+ years of experience developing end-to-end data and machine learning solutions. Master's Degree is preferred.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

133,500 - 200,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
