How you will make history here...

The Campbell's Engineering Team is a high-performance engineering organization and business partner in delivering strategic value-based solutions and innovative technologies. Our mission is to provide engineering leadership and expertise in support of Campbell's growth, Innovation and Supply Chain strategies.

As a member of the Engineering Team, you will be accountable for leading cross functional teams and providing project management leadership in the delivery of complex projects from conceptual design to project completion. This position effectively leverages outside engineering partners and expertise to complement internal resources in the successful delivery of the capital projects.

What you will do...

* Leads a cross functional team and uses the Engineering Team's disciplined process to manage all aspects of major capital projects including establishment of the project charter through successful project execution and project acceptance.
* Understands and analyzes complex manufacturing systems, both new and existing, to improve performance.
* Develops conceptual and preliminary engineering documentation such as rough order of magnitude project estimates, estimates for preliminary engineering costs, layouts, and block flow diagrams.
* Creates specifications as well as engineering services "Requests for Proposals" for the execution of capital projects.
* Effectively manages 3rd party engineering partners in the design, installation, commissioning, and start-up of capital projects.
* Utilizes Campbell's Engineering equipment design standards and principles.
* Provide schedules, project authorization documents, cost controls, functional testing descriptions, necessary inspections, startup training requirements for new installations including supporting the development of operating instructions and maintenance manuals.
* Coordinate and review contractor and vendor activity and interface with plant personnel insuring compliance with plant and corporate standards.
* Supports engineering studies associated with complex projects often involved with new or improved product.
* Manufacturing processes or techniques
* Effectively track project scope schedule, cost, and convey information in a timely and effective manner to the project team
* Support new product initiatives and work as part of a cross-functional team to define capability, scope and capital investment required to implement.
* Work closely with Business Units to define justification needs for Capital Project Authorization.
* Identify innovative technical solutions for both existing and future manufacturing systems and develops strategies that deliver automated, repeatable, and standardized processes.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 9+ years of engineering or project management experience, with continuing progression of increasing responsibilities.
  • Master-level understanding of project and program management.

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

  • 10+ years of engineering or project management experience within food manufacturing preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Degree in Engineering preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$137,600-$197,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
