Job Description

Visa is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of digital payments through the Visa Token Service (VTS) platform.

VTS is central to Visa's global strategy for securing digital commerce and enabling innovative payment experiences across channels, devices, and markets. This global platform team delivers the foundational capabilities that support tokenization at scale and the launch of next-generation token solutions, in close partnership with Visa's business, technical, and client organizations.

This role is pivotal-it sits at the core of Visa's digital strategy, where platform resilience, extensibility, and innovation converge.

As part of the VTS Core Platform team, you will lead high-impact product initiatives that define Visa's next-generation token infrastructure. We're looking for a self-starter with strong product instincts and deep technical fluency - someone who can drive platform innovation while navigating legal, regulatory, and partner constraints.

You will work cross-functionally with global partnerships, regional teams, engineering, architecture, and operations to define and execute strategy, deliver scalable solutions, and drive adoption across a diverse partner ecosystem.

Essential Functions

  • Define and evolve product requirements, use cases, and technical capabilities for the Visa Token Service platform.

  • Lead end-to-end product execution-from ideation to delivery-ensuring timely, high-quality launches in an agile environment.

  • Partner with engineering and architecture to shape scalable, resilient, and extensible system designs.

  • Develop and manage a well-groomed product backlog, prioritize features based on impact, risk, and strategic fit.

  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with regional and partner teams to incorporate client feedback, navigate market nuances, and ensure global alignment.

  • Balance competing priorities from external stakeholders, internal teams, and regulatory/legal frameworks.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for VTS platform evolution.

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across teams, including those without direct reporting lines-to drive alignment and solve cross-functional challenges.

  • Represent VTS in client discussions, synthesize feedback to inform product design and market readiness.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 ormore relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • 8 - 10 years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or fraud,with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-impact platforminitiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance external stakeholder needs withplatform innovation, legal, and regulatory constraints across global markets.
  • Self-directed leader with a strong sense of urgency, capable of navigatingambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills - focused on addressingroot causes, not just symptoms. A collaborative, systems-level thinker with amulti-angle mindset and a proactive approach to resolving complex, cross-functional challenges.
  • Deep technical fluency and hands-on approach - experienced in authoringPRDs, partnering closely with architecture and engineering on resilient systemdesign, proficient in reviewing technical specs (e.g., ISOs, APIs, Swagger),evaluating trade-offs across design options, and contributing to scalable,
  • extensible platform solutions.
  • Data-driven decision maker - experienced in defining KPIs, usingexperimentation, and working with analytics to guide decision-making andoptimize product performance.
  • Strong relationship builder with a proven ability to influence acrossorganizational boundaries - driving alignment among internal teams, regionalstakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership to accelerate outcomes.
  • Exceptional communicator - able to distill complex concepts and trade-offs intoclear, actionable insights for technical and executive stakeholders.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
