2745-990 GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE
Dole Food Company Internships are offered to college students who want to pursue career options within the farming, food processing and distribution industry. Internships give students hands-on experience in their field of interest and prepares them to compete in the labor market. Internships are available in a variety of functions, including finance and accounting, engineering, human resources, information technology, marketing, communications, production, sales and more. Interns work full-time for 3 months. Successful completion of internships can also lead to the offer of a full-time The Ag Operations intern will help to keep updated several key pineapple crop databases by collecting factual land prep, planting, irrigation, crop log, pest survey and harvest data. This project will help to create traceability throughout the pineapple production cycle and will serve as support for the SPP (Pineapple Production System) ongoing implementation process MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION
