Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Partner Technical Lead (PTL) to guide and support our partners in deploying NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights (DII). This role focuses on driving the adoption and integration of DII solutions and services within partner-led opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Job Requirements
As a Partner Technical Lead, you will:
- Partner Development:Build and maintain relationships with partner technical teams. Align and execute joint business plans, develop joint solutions with NetApp DII, deliver NDA content, and drive conference participation. Promote partner capabilities within NetApp and coordinate partner enablement plans.
- Technical Leadership:Provide technical guidance and mentorship to partner teams. Stay current with advancements in DII and NetApp technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert on NetApp DII during pre-sales engagements, supporting the technical sales cycle with product briefings and demos.
- Collaboration and Communication:Understand partner requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with sales teams to develop tailored solutions and demonstrate NetApp DII solutions to prospective partners.
- Co-Selling:Support partners in identifying NetApp opportunities and assist NetApp sellers in identifying opportunities for partner offerings. Facilitate collaboration between NetApp and partner sales teams, supporting complex sales cycles and transferring knowledge.
Education
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on data and storage management.
- Expertise in data center operations, infrastructure services, and integration with third-party CMDB and service management services.
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and REST API Services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices for storage and data center operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with traditional partners and understanding their unique requirements.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- NetApp NCDA, SAN, or other NetApp Accreditations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical knowledge of SAN and NAS storage services, cloud, and relevant workloads (e.g., VMware, OpenShift, Hyper-V).
- Strong communication and interfacing skills across various personas and levels within partner organizations.
- Understanding of partner business, market, and role in NetApp and the industry.
- Insight into sales processes and motivators for sales professionals.
- Skilled in negotiating and resolving complex situations while maintaining positive relationships.
- Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking to set goals and objectives for the partner relationship.
Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 206,720 - 267,520 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
