The Client Solutions Group (CSG) within Goldman Sachs Asset Management is responsible for global client strategy, capital formation, strategic partnerships, product strategy, and capital markets activities across the firm's alternatives investments and public market investing platforms, which now represents over $2.5 trillion in assets.

CSG markets GSAM's investment products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries and advisors. The focus is on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and communicating key themes from the firm's leading investment professionals. CSG provides investment solutions across all major asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities and alternatives) and products including mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts and alternative investments.

The Platform Development team is part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Americas TPW Business and responsible for leading the business development strategy for research due diligence teams within third party wealth management clients.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

Examples of responsibilities are listed below:



  • Support senior sales professionals with business development efforts
  • Handle all logistics related to client meetings
  • Liaise with internal teams on all client requests
  • Triage client service issues
  • Assist with client events
  • Manage all project tracker spreadsheets with lists of critical action items
  • Be a subject matter expert on tools used by team
  • Assist with team reporting as needed


Associate:



  • Assist with business planning and strategy for focus accounts
  • Handle internal and external inquiries related to GSAM products and services
  • Attend client meetings and proactively develop relationships
  • Develop sales ideas based on market landscape, client alignment and GSAM focus products


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree and strong academic background
  • Strong interest in sales, marketing and the financial markets
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that is extremely dynamic
  • Strong time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail



Preferred Qualification



  • Experience in asset or wealth management preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn new businesses and take on new tasks
  • Strong excel and power point skills
  • Series 7 and 63 registration preferred
  • CFA preferred
