Applications Supervisor

As the Applications Supervisor, you will oversee an Applications Team and be responsible for routine product maintenance and support (including field or manufacturing support). You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH and report to the Applications Team Lead. The shift is 12-hour nights from 5pm to 5am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and execute projects.
• Correlate Customer processes and direct core project team members in experimental design testing and Sigma Logic analysis.
• Work with lab formulators and at customer sites; help formulate corrective actions and retesting for improved customer trials
• Identify root cause(s) using higher-level business process improvement tools.
• Guide application testing and manage other Application Specialists.
• Influence and motivate associates.
• Influence Customers about improved engineering and coating application processes.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• 1+ years of experience in Automotive OEM Applications or proven experience as a supervisor or related role.
• Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions to assist different teams
• Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
