Job Summary:

Finance & Planning Manager position is a key role within the Financial Planning department with a unique focus on the North America New Business and Retention reporting. This position reports to Sr. Finance Manager, Financial Planning. The position will be based in our Charlotte, NC corporate office and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage/support the monthly new business and retention reporting for all Compass Sectors. Compile and address sector feedback to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Maintain new/lost business impact analysis (which supplements Cause of Change reporting).
  • Support preparation of presentations related to new/lost business.
  • Assist with compilation of competitor analysis
  • Support new business report process (including Compass Group PLC approval submission) or any ad hoc requests as needed
  • Manage/support the capital assets reporting related to new business/retention.
  • Liaise with Strategic Alliance Group (SAG) and all Compass Sectors to ensure retention reporting is current and consistent
  • Identify and support any needed process improvements in new business/retention reporting
  • Maintain Retention/Lost data key metrics as periodically requested by Senior management
  • Manage/support the SAG top accounts and ad hoc requests as needed
  • Analyze sector and consolidated NA new business/retention metrices during the Budget and Forecast process
  • Arrange and compile reports that contains KPI's and other financial metrics used by the Executive team
  • Special projects as determined necessary by management as well as ad hoc analysis for Sector Finance and Executive Management
  • Seek continuous improvements by identification and implementation of on-going efficiencies and process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Five to Seven years of accounting/finance/reporting experience in a large organization
  • Excellent problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
  • FP&A, Budget and forecast experience a plus
  • Team player in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Attention to detail, and a positive Can-do attitude are must-haves
  • Ability to drive completion of deliverables independently
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft applications
