Job Tittle: Site Support Technician (Onsite)

Job Summary:

The role involves providing comprehensive hardware and software support services to onsite clients, ensuring system reliability and flawless operations. You will be responsible for deskside support tasks, solve network devices, diagnosing system failures, and implementing effective repair solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hardware/software support services, including break/fix solutions.
  • Perform deskside support tasks such as PC staging, asset management, software installation, solve, printer support, and compliance tasks.
  • Process remedy ticket requests and provide end-user support.
  • Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions.
  • Fix network devices to ensure connectivity from PCs to the network.
  • Implement virus detection and eradication procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in end-user support.
  • Proficient in deskside solve across hardware, software, printing, networking, and file shares.
  • Familiarity with MAC and iOS Systems; expertise in resolving Windows 7/10 and MAC OS errors.
  • Skilled in the latest Microsoft Office Applications (Office 365).
  • Experience with ServiceNow or related ITSM ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge of printer and scanner support, as well as customer infrastructure support.
  • Mobile device support expertise.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, computer asset tracking, and user ID creation.
  • Some experience with support and administration of VoIP systems.
  • Understanding of Symantec Virus Scan software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while moving electronic equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and a solid team player.
Certifications Required
  • CompTIA Network+ Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals ITIL Foundation Certification
Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until May, 24 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $39,000 to $79,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
