The Director of Product Partnerships for Financial Intelligence is a critical role within Platforms Solutions. The Platforms arm of FIS is an exciting, tech-forward division of FIS driving some of our most ambitious projects to bring market-leading financial services compliance & risk technology to the market.

The role

This role is responsible for owning the strategy, planning, and execution of product partnerships efforts to support the growth of our Platform business - specifically Financial Intelligence, which includes identity, compliance, and fraud products. To start, this role will largely focus on targeting Financial Institutions, though quickly it will expand to other verticals.

General responsibilities

  • Work daily with product leadership across identity, compliance, and fraud products to identify opportunities for partners to bring industry-leading products to market

  • Evaluate buy/build/partner scenarios and make recommendations on business benefits and risks

  • Manage end-to-end process of sourcing and executing partnerships in line with product strategy

  • Continuously optimize COGS & operating margins through pricing negotiations with new partners and renegotiating agreements with existing partners

  • Identifying and signing partnerships that add new SKUs for FIS/Fintel sellers

  • Deliver headline-worthy product partnership(s)

  • Collaborate with technology, finance, legal, strategic investments, pricing, product development, technology, and commercialization teams

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry leaders, and internal stakeholders

  • Evangelize FIS and Platform products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships

  • Be a culture node, champion a startup mentality as FIS continues to invest in its growing Platform business

What you bring

  • Background in identity/compliance/fraud industries

  • 10+ years in product partnership or adjacent roles, with multiple years targeting banking or financial services clients

  • Experience structuring complex, enterprise, product partnership contracts with businesses

  • Comfortable engaging executive internal and external stakeholders across all business functions - e.g., product, engineering, sales, finance

  • Strong convictions, loosely held mentality - have a perspective but seek out opinions or data that might prove or disprove your perspective

  • Serve as a client champion and advocate; understand and focus on clients' needs, establish credibility, and build positive, professional relationships with clients

  • Experience and comfort with some ambiguity; you continuous help set and adjust our team's product partnerships strategy

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $170,740.00 - $281,750.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
