We are currently seeking a System Verification and Validation Engineer to join us in this exciting mission. What You'll Do:
As a System Verification and Validation Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of critical software systems supporting human spaceflight. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing test cases and scripts for complex software verification efforts Integrating multi-vendor software and hardware systems Designing and performing tests on dynamic physical systems Applying advanced simulation techniques and conducting data analysis Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to innovative solutions Performing additional engineering duties as needed
What You Bring:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field 2-5 years of relevant experience Background in integrated product teams and high-assurance software testing Experience with autonomous systems and software development in a Linux/C/C++ environment Comfortable with agile development practices and collaboration tools Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Motivated, fast learner with a commitment to excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Python and scripting languages Experience across the full software development lifecycle Familiarity with NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems Knowledge of safety-critical software development and NASA standards Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Slack
