QUALIFICATIONS
10+ experience in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering, with a minimum of 7 years in senior management roles, demonstrating extensive expertise in these areas At least 6 years of experience in people management, including leading, mentoring, and developing technical staff in a dynamic, innovative environment Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics,Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Physics, or Engineering Expert-level technical knowledge of the modern data stack, including proficiency with Snowflake, Databricks/Sagemaker, W&B, dbt, Fivetran, Hightouch/Census, Dagster/Airflow, AWS, git, etc. Strong background in strategic business acumen, with fluency in translating complex business questions into detailed technical requirements Substantial experience in product management, including stakeholder management, synthesizing diverse viewpoints, and ROI calculation Extensive experience in software development, best practices and agile methodologies Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau Expertise in advanced analytical techniques, ranging from statistical analysis to machine learning, and experience with large data sets and distributed computing tools A passion for data quality and systems design, coupled with a curiosity about the best ways for teams and systems to succeed and grow Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships across departments and fostering a collaborative, empowering management style Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data strategies to a diverse range of stakeholders
