Overview

This is a remote role, that may be hired in the following states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut and Illinois. Candidates must be willing to work Eastern timezone.

This position leads the planning, development, management, and performance reporting of sales strategies and marketing initiatives that increase client awareness and revenue for assigned lines of business. Implements strategic programs targeting client acquisition and retention, revenue growth, and referred business. Develops and executes the communication of marketing initiatives and customer notifications. Facilitates integration through the branch channel, firstcitizens.com, social media and digital banking platforms. May provide leadership and guidance to less experienced associates in the work group.


Responsibilities

  • Creating Sales Initiatives - Work with line of business leadership, sales managers, and product managers to create strategies and campaigns that drive Competitive Path objectives and achieve revenue growth. Brings plans to Marketing and drives execution through marketing channels. Measures results.
  • External Communication - Manages the development and distributions of external newsletters, Tombstones and LinkedIn content, sales presentations for assigned lines of business. Also manages required customer communications for incidents, acquisitions and similar events.
  • Content Creation - Provide direction to line of business, product and sales managers to create content that supports revenue growth objectives. Drives deadlines to support strategy and campaigns. Ensures materials stay current.
  • Communications - Works with product managers to manage product content for internal partner use and internal partner communications and education for assigned lines of business.
  • Managing internal and client events and webinars. Manages the creation and planning of both internal and external events.
  • Ability to effectively engage with department and cross-functional team members at all levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Financial Services experience in specific lines of business and relevant marketing or communications experience in a similar environment. Project Management. OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Financial Services experience in specific lines of business and relevant marketing or communications experience in a similar environment. Project Management.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to both internal and external audiences.
  • Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations and collaborating with Senior Management to accomplish to accomplish key initiatives.
  • 5+ years of banking experience
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management products and services required.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Compliance.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives.
  • Background in supporting client and internal events, meetings, and webinars.
