Position Summary:

LivaNova is seeking a highly motivated intern to support our compliance team as we work to continually enhance our compliance program. The area of focus for this internship is third party compliance. As a medical device manufacturer, we work with many third parties around the world, including distributors and sales agents.

General Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Head of Compliance Operations and Risk to develop the gap assessment and action plan for third party compliance
• Interact with business leaders around the world to better understand business needs, third party activity, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Assist in the creation and establishment of new and enhanced tools and resources including but not limited to policies, training, web-based portals, due diligence tools, and contracts
• Learn about trade and sanction compliance and assist with trade compliance due diligence activities and policy and process enhancement

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel), shared collaboration sites, and training management software
• Analytical in nature
• Organized and good project management skills
• Proven abilities in demonstrating good judgment, building effective working relationships, excellent problem-solving skills
• Works independently with some supervision needed
• Familiarity with controls and auditing a plus

Education:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, business administration, or other related disciplines

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $25 per hour. Pay ranges may vary by location.
