Responsibilities

As an APRN - Psychiatric, you'll be at the forefront of providing top-notch mental health care. You'll work directly with clients and their families, conducting evaluations, managing medication therapies, and offering psychotherapy and counseling. Your expertise will help us ensure the highest standards of safety and continuity of care!

Your Day-to-Day Adventures Will Include:

  • Team Spirit: Collaborate with an amazing mental health team while overseeing the psychiatric care of your own caseload of clients.
  • Client Connections: Conduct evaluations and manage your clients through engaging direct care encounters. You'll prescribe medications, order labs, and provide essential education to clients and families.
  • Documentation Dynamo: Keep our records in tip-top shape by completing assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within 24 hours. Your attention to detail will help us maintain our high standards!
  • Care Continuity Champion: Connect with other providers to gather important client histories and ensure smooth transitions during admissions and discharges.
  • Team Meetings & Training: Attend fun and informative treatment team meetings and training sessions to keep your skills sharp and your knowledge fresh.
  • On-Call Hero: Share in the on-call responsibilities for our residential programs, ensuring our clients receive the care they need, when they need it.
  • Communication Wizard: Maintain excellent communication with your clinical team, outpatient providers, and family members to create a supportive environment for our clients.

Qualifications

Compensation for this role ranges from $70.00 - $82.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.

  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state in which you are applying to provide services and Board Certification in Psychiatry.
  • Current DEA license.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with adolescents or young adults, as applicable, is required.
  • Experience working with clients in a Residential, PHP/IOP/OP or psychiatric treatment environment preferred.
