Staffmark is looking for a skilled Fitter to join our team in Houston, TX. If you're experienced in MIG and Flux core welding and ready to work on complex carbon steel and
stainless-steel vessels, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $21 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:



  • Follow safety policies and shop quality standards.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications for fabrication.
  • Use MIG & Flux core welding for tack welding carbon steel and stainless-steel components.
  • Fit nozzles, couplings, and internal subassemblies for pressure vessels.
  • Use tools like cutting torches, plasma arcs, and grinders.
  • Work with team members to solve fabrication challenges.
  • Safely use cranes and rigging devices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman.



Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of pressure vessel fabrication experience.
  • Proficient in basic math, reading engineering drawings, and using welding tools.
  • Ability to perform a 3G weld test.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Experience with both large and small carbon steel and stainless-steel vessels.
