Starting Pay: $13.75 Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM The Role in a NUTSHELL: Do you thrive in a warehouse setting? Do you enjoying packing and bubble wrap? If so, then read on. Reporting to the eCommerce Shipping Supervisor, the eCommerce Shipping Clerk is an entry level position responsible for packaging and shipping all items from the eCommerce Department. What You'll DO: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Identify items tagged for shipment. Locate boxes and packing material appropriate for the item being shipped. Package and seal items, preventing damage to merchandise. Weigh item, ensuring correct postage based on weight and dimensions. Create address labels, postage stickers and insure the package contents with designated UPS/USPS software Ensure the item is shipped in a timely manner. All other duties as assigned by the eCommerce Shipping Supervisor Work Environment This job operates in a warehouse setting. Physical Demand The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and apply active listening skills. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Who You ARE: eCommerce Shipping Clerk will be a proven leader with the following: Fundamental computer skills using software designed for postage and shipping related activities. Experienced in support environments. Must be able to multi-task and work both rapidly and efficiently. High School Graduate or equivalent.
