Maintenance Technician

Staffmark is partnering with a leading PET plastics manufacturer in West Chester, OH, to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position. Pay Range: $28 - $32/hr (Based on experience)

Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment through regular maintenance, emergency repairs, and equipment optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct emergency/unscheduled repairs during shifts or while on call
• Set up and prepare machinery for production runs
• Rebuild and repair various types of production and packaging equipment
• Interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times
• Lift and handle materials or equipment up to 50 lbs as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in equipment and industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and repair skills
• Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives, HVAC, pumps, valves, and electrical systems
• Familiar with preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and safety protocols
• Technical certification or degree in maintenance (preferred)
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and self-motivated
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
