THE JOB:

The Horticulture Laborer position is primarily responsible for maintaining the day-to-day cleanliness and organization of all indoor and outdoor landscape areas.

THE STARTING RATE:

• $18.50/hour

• Eligibility for pay increase after completion of 6 months.

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Clean landscape areas to include rock application, raking, blowing, washing, and similar activities.

• Receive, inventory and track plant and supply orders.

• Properly use a variety of manual hand tools such as rakes, hand saws, pruning shears, shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, spreaders/sprayers, sod knifes and hedge shears.

• Operate specialized power and motorized equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, light tractors, lawn mowers, chainsaws, and rototillers.

• Drive and operate company vehicles, trailers, and/or specialized carts to travel between properties and transport materials and equipment.

• Clean and maintain gardening tools, equipment, and supply areas to ensure good working condition.

• Operate mobile devices for work order response, creation and completion.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 1+ years of landscaping, or similar experience preferred.

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record is required.

• Prior experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and/or boom lifts preferred.

• Ability to work varied day shifts, including weekends and holidays.
