Technician- Quality Assurance- 1st Shift (7AM-3:30PM) $23.00/hr.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Quality Assurance Technician to be based out of Phoenix, AZ. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, this person will be responsible for performing product inspections using various types of measurement equipment, as well as conducting compliance audits.

What you'll do:

• Interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications and apply procedures, specifications, and standards to ensure product compliance.
• Responsible for notifying production personnel of out of conformance product and train production associates on applicable testing and inspection procedures/methods.
• Report and track quality nonconformance and ensure proper quarantine of such material.
• Actively participate in identifying and correcting the root cause for nonconforming issues.
• Document, maintain, archive, and retrieve applicable quality, test and inspection reports via hardcopy or electronic means.
• Responsible for re-tests on rejected materials within production/warehouse.

Shift:

• Day shift- 7am to 3:30pm

What you'll bring:

• Minimum High School diploma (preferably associate degree or higher.)
• At least two years in related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to use tape measure, laser level, and other measurement tools to measure parts for conformity preferred.

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Complete any required training.
• Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
• Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
