Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work in a Hybrid with our client in Jersey City, NJ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Operations Intermediate Specialist-FX Trade Initiation assists the Foreign Exchange RMs in processing trades and ensuring trader positions are accurately updated.
  • Support various eCommerce initiatives.
  • Act as the focal point person between the FX NY, Tokyo & London RM's and the various post-execution units, including Confirmations, Settlements, and Investigations.
  • Responsibilities include trade entry, compensation, and position checks.
  • Work closely with eCommerce, Marketing, and Data Security teams to set up new clients/users for trading on eCommerce platforms.
  • Respond to internal and external client service requests concerning FX reconciliation, discrepancies, and investigations.
  • Monitor any technical issues with FX systems and the portal and work with the Systems Support team to resolve them quickly.
  • Participate in process improvements within the FX Trade Initiation Unit and see improvements through to completion.
  • Monitor and liaise with the Emerging Market currency process with the SI team.
  • Provide scheduled and ad hoc reporting to FX Trading and InServ as necessary on open trades, client volumes, and passive hedge trades.
  • Call clients and CSG to reconfirm details on Fax orders.
  • Process and monitor daily trading activity with various Prime Brokers and Liquidity Providers for the Agency Prime Brokerage business.
  • Prepare and confirm net settlement files with Prime Brokers and monitor various websites for CLS settlement with the client's custodians.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in MS Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in FX Operations, Derivatives, or related Financial Services
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize volume
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proactive approach to daily work and ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate professionally with others
  • Good client service skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Client Core Systems.
