Client: Building Maintenance Organization Salary: $70k/year Location: Long Island City Hybrid 3 days/week on site after training period Responsibilities: Billing Procedures: oPrepare and send out invoices accurately and on time. oEnsure invoices are compliant with company policies and client agreements. oHandle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies with clients. Accounts Receivable Management: oProactively monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports, routinely according to the client expectations. oFollow up on overdue accounts and communicate with clients to facilitate payment. Record Keeping: oMaintain accurate and organized records of all transactions, invoices, and payments. oUpdate financial databases and accounting software with billing information. Communication and Collaboration: oWork closely with internal departments to ensure smooth billing operations. oProvide exceptional customer service to clients regarding billing queries. Ad hoc: oAssist the controller in providing audit materials during audits, as needed. Qualifications and Competencies: Bilingual Spanish * A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred. * Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance. * A demonstrated working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. * Knowledgeable about software portals COUPA, CORRIGO, TAULIA, etc. * Strong analytical mindset - the ability to analyze and interpret data to draw accurate conclusions, prioritize work, and elevate concerns appropriately. * Must possess strong client relations skills, including active listening, professional demeanor, understanding, account knowledge, adaptability, and follow-through. * Must be highly organized with great attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. * Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise positively with all levels of management. * Self-starter able to work with high urgency to meet deadlines.
