Description Our healthcare client is seeking three motivated and detail-oriented entry-level contractors to support our network segmentation project. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge of IT networks who are looking to gain practical experience in network segmentation and security. Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation and configuration of network segmentation. Perform basic network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure segmentation effectiveness. Document network configurations and changes accurately. Support the team in identifying and resolving network segmentation issues. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure project milestones are met. Provide administrative support as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Basic IT Network Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, and firewalls. Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously handle network configurations and ensure accuracy in all tasks. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Tools: Familiarity with basic network tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer). Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to identify and troubleshoot basic network issues. Team Collaboration: Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to collective goals. Skills Network engineering, port security, vlan, vrf, Troubleshooting, Switches, documenting requirements Top Skills Details Network engineering,port security,vlan,vrf Additional Skills & Qualifications Day to day operational work - remote sites that need to be transitioned Doing physical migrations and configurations Have to be motivated Cisco routing and switching experience Lifecycle of equipment (replacing switches, etc) Need to be prepared for evening work (this will be on occasion, as needed, not every week thing) Mainly onsite with travel to different hospitals in the area Experience Level* Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
