Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred but not required; five years experience in manufacturing or engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply mathematical concepts to the degree necessary. REASONING ABILITY Ability to determine product status based on test & inspection results. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must have or be willing to learn: Blueprint reading as applicable to manufacturing of metals, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Statistical Process Control (SPC) Measurement Techniques (Metrology) Computer Application basics (Windows, Spreadsheets, etc.) Coordinate Measuring Machine applications (CMM-Romer) Ability to work with people (Team Player) Physical Demands AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
