Position Title: Purchasing Technician Wage: $20.00 - $25.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday OT Available Ready to Step Into Big Shoes? We're Hiring a Purchasing Technician/Stockroom Associate in Waupun, WI! We're looking for an experienced candidate to join a leading global manufacturer in Waupun, WI. In this position, you'll handle ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment essential to production. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can also work independently, is flexible with their schedule, and open to working overtime as needed. Purchasing Technician Responsibilities: - Maintaining organized inventory storage and accurate SAP records - Filling orders and issuing supplies to production teams - Performing cycle counts and analyzing scrap/nonconforming items - Assisting with QA certification entry and material analysis - Recommending inventory level adjustments and supporting MRO stock usage - Ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient stockroom environment - Backing up the Material Analyst as needed Requirements For Purchasing Technician: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required - Minimum of one year related experience and/or training - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form - Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations - Operator must be highly motivated with ability to work independently, yet be an effective team player - Operator must have above average mechanical ability QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
