The pay listed above is encompassing of a total range, final compensation offered will be dependent upon several factors to include but not limited to years of experience and education within the position and industry.

Scope of Work:

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for cradle-to-grave contract administration in support of federal government contracting activities, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, SBA 8(a) program requirements, and internal policies. This role supports the contract lifecycle from proposal through closeout and works closely with internal departments, customers, and government contracting officers to facilitate successful contract performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review, negotiation, execution, and administration of government contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, SBA 8(a) program regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain complete and accurate contract files in accordance with federal requirements and audit standards.
  • Support proposal preparation, including coordination of required certifications, representations, and pricing documentation.
  • Analyze solicitation terms and conditions and provide risk assessments and compliance recommendations.
  • Interface with government contracting officers and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues.
  • Track contract deliverables, funding, periods of performance, and other key milestones.
  • Collaborate with program managers, finance, procurement, and compliance teams to support contract execution and reporting.
  • Prepare contract-related correspondence, including notifications, requests for equitable adjustments, and contract modifications.
  • Maintain contract data in the company's contract management system.
  • Assist with 8(a) sole source justifications, business system compliance documentation, and SBA reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Consistently produces quality products and service.
  • Completes all training within required timeline.
  • Performs all work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, contract management or a related field for equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in government contract administration, preferably within an 8(a), small business, or DoD contracting environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, SBA regulations.
  • Experience with CPARS, SAM.gov, and contract lifecycle management tools (Deltek, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, small business environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
  • Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must possess the ability to interact well with others in a team setting ability or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of contract administration experience at a DoD Contractor.
  • Current Secret security clearance.
  • Familiarity with cost and pricing structures for FFP, T&M, CPFF/CPIF type contracts.
  • NCMA certification (CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM)

Work Environment:

This position may be performed remotely or in a hybrid capacity, depending on company and contract requirements. Some travel may be required.
