SALARY RANGE:$117,000 - 133,000 POSITION SUMMARY: As Estimator III, oversee, manage, and accomplish the completion of estimates for assigned projects. This includes the oversight of Estimator(s) and Procurement Specialist in support of assigned projects. As Estimator III, review specifications, proposals, drawings and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for ship repair and other marine and non-marine related projects. JOB SCOPE: Operates within general parameters but must use sound judgment and decision-making while exercising daily job responsibilities. The individual will normally handle any contentious issues resulting from interacting with customers, subcontractors, or other Company employees. Issues that cannot be resolved at the Senior Estimator level are elevated to the Estimating Department Manager. Has the ability to identify and propose changes to existing department procedures but must obtain approval of their supervisor prior to implementing any changes. Failure to carry out assigned duties with regard to preparation of timely and accurate estimates will directly affect the success of the Company estimating effort. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: As Estimator III, provides oversight of the Estimators and Procurement Specialist that are providing support for their assigned estimate project. INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands for this position include the operation of various office machines, including a personal computer and printer. Additional physical demands include visits to marine vessels and non-marine industrial facilities to inspect intended worksite. Travel required within North American, with possible overseas travel required as well. Operating of a motor vehicle and a valid driver's license required. The role requires working extended hours, including weekends, holidays and evenings, to perform assigned duties. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment for this job is primarily office-oriented, although some job responsibilities require out-of-town travel. Occasional requirement to tour ship repair yard and perform inspections aboard ships. While in production areas, exposed to all types of weather conditions, noise, dusts and odors.
