Role

Under close supervision, reviews Scale House tickets and confirms waste type and directs area traffic in a safe and efficient manner according to established policies and procedures. Must be able to work assigned shift.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Reviews Scale House tickets and confirms waste type.
  • Conducts Load Check and identifies wastes not identified on ticket. Informs customer and weighmasters of any additional wastes not on weigh ticket to ensure payment.
  • Directs incoming traffic to appropriate tipping area.
  • Identifies and reports all hazardous materials identified in load, to spotter at the active face. Provides customers with proper disposal outlet.
  • Talks to customers and answers questions or directs to proper person.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Entry position for a person with the required knowledge, but no specific experience.
