As a Treasury Management Product Manager, you will develop the banking strategy for assigned bank Treasury Management products and services, providing marketing oversight and support to Commercial and Business Banking teams. Accountable for the strategy development and also recommending new product features and services for the purpose of growing customer adoption/use of product and services. Performs role of product advocate on cross-functional teams, presenting new product proposals and/or enhancements that support achievement of revenue and profit objectives as well as contribute to the bank's growth strategy.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Responsible for creating the strategic direction for the product line to ensure competitive, compliant, marketable, and profitable products are available for target customer segments. Champions product line by clearly articulating product positioning, key benefits, and value proposition. This includes developing and maintaining the assigned product line road map, delivering product requirements and bringing new products and services to launch.
  • Develop and meet growth and profitability objectives for assigned products. Lead efforts to expand or change existing product features. Contribute to decisions regarding product pricing and profitability.
  • Responsible for negotiating contracts with and managing the vendor relationships with those who provide products and services to the Bank. Conduct risk reviews and analysis of effectiveness of vendors, and alternative options of competing vendors, products, and services.
  • Responsible for all product line compliance and regulatory adherence.
  • Responsible for evaluating and enhancing actively sold and serviced products, identify opportunities for revenue enhancements, tracking profitability and managing changes to assigned products. This includes evaluating the impact of regulatory changes, risk assessments, incorporating Bank initiatives, and customer needs analysis on new and/or enhanced products and services.
  • Responsible for leading cross-functional project teams in the creation and launch of new products and enhancements based on market needs. Including partnership with marketing, communications, Digital Banking, Bank Support, Training and other stakeholders to create and execute effective product launches, promotions and campaigns. This includes developing project plans, presentations, development of training material, communications and other information related to product launch.
  • Maintains working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Related Field (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience
  • 6 or more years of progressively responsible work experience in a Treasury Management environment directly related to the work of this position
  • 6 or more years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process or team required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Extensive understanding of marketing, product management, bank operations, accounting, financial analysis, vendor management, bank regulations, commercial banking products, and competitive environment.
  • Extensive ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance. This includes demonstrated project leadership of product development teams comprised of cross-functional experts, marketing colleagues and vendors.
  • Possess concise and effective communication (verbal, presentation, written) skills, interviewing techniques for extracting/validating factual information. Must be able to effectively interact with customers, management, industry peer and business groups, attorneys, auditors, external vendors, and consultants.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, technology and fintech innovation, and competitive landscape of digital services. Ability to design and build an integrated customer experience across products. Ability to think strategically and develop roadmap for assigned products and services. Experience in creating product briefings and presenting to Executive leadership.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office to include extensive experience with Excel, including use of and programming formulas for related spreadsheets and databases. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to Treasury Management products.

  • Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $102,000 - $134,342
